Koodooka Moni — Terms of Service
Koodooka Moni — Your AI Money Companion
Effective: 3 August 2026
Please read these Terms carefully. By downloading, accessing, or using Koodooka Moni, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the App.
1. Introduction & Definitions
These Terms of Service ("Terms") constitute a legally binding agreement between you ("User", "you", or "your") and Koodooka Ltd ("Koodooka", "we", "us", or "our"), a company registered in England and Wales.
In these Terms:
- "App" or "Koodooka Moni" means the Koodooka Moni mobile application, including all features, content, and services provided through it. "Moni" means the AI companion experience inside the App.
- "Service" means the AI-powered financial companion features provided by Koodooka Moni, including conversational AI, guided journeys, Vault documents, goals and rewards, property/wealth tools you choose to use, and related functionality. Connected Open Banking feeds are not part of the current Service offering.
- "Content" means all text, data, information, graphics, audio, and other materials generated by or displayed within the App.
2. Not Financial Advice
Important: Moni is an informational tool and AI companion. It does not provide financial advice, investment advice, tax advice, or any other form of regulated financial guidance.
The insights, suggestions, and information provided by Moni are generated by artificial intelligence and are for general informational purposes only. They should not be relied upon as a substitute for professional financial advice tailored to your individual circumstances.
You acknowledge and agree that:
- Koodooka is not a financial adviser, bank, or regulated financial institution
- AI-generated content may contain inaccuracies or errors
- You are solely responsible for any financial decisions you make
- You should consult a qualified financial adviser before making significant financial decisions
3. Eligibility & Account Registration
To use Koodooka Moni, you must:
- Be at least 18 years of age
- Be a resident of the United Kingdom or a supported jurisdiction
- Provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration
- Maintain the accuracy of your account information
You register using your phone number and a one-time passcode. You are responsible for keeping your device and account access secure.
4. Account Security
You are responsible for:
- Keeping your login credentials secure and confidential
- All activity that occurs under your account, whether authorised by you or not
- Notifying us immediately at [email protected] if you suspect any unauthorised access to your account
- Ensuring that any device on which you use Koodooka Moni is secured with appropriate device-level protections, such as a passcode or biometrics
Koodooka will never ask you for your password, bank login credentials, or full card details. If you receive such a request, do not respond and report it to us immediately.
5. Use of the Service
5.1 Permitted Use
You may use Koodooka Moni for your personal, non-commercial financial management purposes in accordance with these Terms.
5.2 Prohibited Conduct
You agree not to:
- Use the App for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable laws or regulations
- Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the Service, other users' accounts, or our systems
- Reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble, or otherwise attempt to derive the source code of the App
- Use the App to transmit malicious code, viruses, or harmful data
- Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the Service
- Use automated tools such as bots, scrapers, or crawlers to access the Service without our written permission
- Misrepresent your identity or impersonate any person or entity
- Use the AI features to generate content that is illegal, harmful, or abusive
6. Financial Data You Provide
You may add money-related information to Koodooka Moni yourself (for example goals, property or mortgage details, and documents in your Vault). You are responsible for the accuracy of information you enter.
Connected Open Banking / multi-bank account aggregation is not currently available in the App. If we introduce a regulated Open Banking connection later, we will update these Terms and obtain any additional consent required before you can connect a bank. Any future Open Banking access would be read-only — Moni would not initiate payments, transfers, or changes to your bank accounts — and you would be able to revoke access through the App or your bank.
Koodooka is not a custodian bank and does not hold customer deposits. Koodooka is not responsible for errors, omissions, or delays in third-party financial data sources if or when those integrations are offered.
7. Service Availability
We strive to provide a reliable and available Service, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. The Service may be temporarily unavailable due to:
- Scheduled or emergency maintenance
- Software updates and upgrades
- Third-party service outages, such as bank APIs or cloud providers
- Force majeure events beyond our reasonable control
We will make reasonable efforts to notify you of planned downtime in advance. We are not liable for loss or damage resulting from service interruptions to the extent permitted by law.
8. Intellectual Property
All intellectual property rights in the App, including the software, design, branding, logos, AI models, algorithms, and content excluding your personal data, are owned by or licensed to Koodooka Ltd.
Subject to these Terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use the App on your personal device for its intended purpose.
You may not:
- Copy, modify, or distribute the App or any part of it
- Use our trademarks, logos, or branding without our prior written consent
- Create derivative works based on the App
- Sub-license or transfer your rights under these Terms to any third party
9. User Content
You retain ownership of content you submit through the App, such as voice inputs and uploaded documents. By submitting content, you grant Koodooka a limited, non-exclusive licence to process and use it solely for the purpose of providing the Service to you, in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
We do not claim ownership of your personal data or financial information.
10. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Koodooka's total aggregate liability arising out of or in connection with these Terms or the Service shall not exceed the greater of (a) the amount you have paid to Koodooka in the 12 months preceding the claim, or (b) £100.
To the extent permitted by law, Koodooka shall not be liable for:
- Indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages
- Loss of profits, revenue, data, or business opportunities
- Financial losses resulting from decisions made based on AI-generated content or insights
- Inaccuracies in financial data obtained from third-party providers
- Unauthorised access to your account resulting from your failure to maintain account security
- Service interruptions caused by third-party providers or force majeure events
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or any other liability that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law.
11. Indemnification
To the extent permitted by law, you agree to indemnify and hold harmless Koodooka Ltd, its officers, directors, employees, and agents from claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and reasonable expenses arising from:
- Your unlawful use of the App or Service

- You breach these Terms
- We are required to do so by law or regulatory order
- We reasonably believe your account is being used fraudulently or poses a security risk
- We discontinue the Service
12.3 Effect of Termination
Upon termination, your right to use the App ceases. We may retain limited information as required by law or as described in our Privacy Policy. Sections relating to intellectual property, limitation of liability, indemnification, and governing law survive termination.
13. Disclaimers
The App and Service are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis, subject to rights and warranties that cannot lawfully be excluded.
We do not warrant that:
- The App will meet every specific requirement
- The App will be uninterrupted, timely, secure, or error-free
- AI-generated insights or information will always be accurate, complete, or reliable

14. Changes to These Terms
We may modify these Terms. If we make material changes, we will notify you through the App or by email before they take effect where required.
Your continued use of the App after the effective date of revised Terms constitutes acceptance of the changes. If you do not agree, you must stop using the App.
